ABOUT THE FILM ~ Screenagers is about the impact of the digital age on children and how to help them minimize harmful effects and find balance. After seeing the film, people tell us that they feel more confident and better equipped to establish balance around screen time. This film and the material provided is geared for parents and students in grades 4-8. Grace will have free childcare available for children in lower grades. Film starts at 5:30.

Operation Christmas Child is Coming to Grace!
For the 6th year in a row Grace will be participating in the Operation Christmas Child ministry. We have the opportunity to serve Jesus by packing shoeboxes to be distributed worldwide to children in need. Each box will contain special Christmas gifts and most importantly the gift of hearing the gospel message of Jesus! Our campaign will begin October 7th and all boxes will be due back no later than Thursday, November 16th.
In addition, we will need volunteers to be at our table in the welcome center before and after weekend worship services during the campaign.
New this year! Grace will be a public OCC shoebox collection center for the week of November 13th-17th. We need to form a volunteer team for that week!
For more information and to volunteer contact Pastor Scott at sgary59@sbcglobal.net or call Yoke in the church office at 760-745-0831.
SAVE THE DATE for The LIVING NATIVITY!
We are excited to present the Living Nativity for 2017! Performances are scheduled for Friday, December 15th at 7:00 pm and Saturday, December 16th at 6:00 pm. This ministry is a lot of fun! Sharing the story of Jesus during the Christmas season is a sure way to make amazing memories and fill the hearts of others. We hope you can join us in making this year a success!
