Principal's Message
Hello All,
We are rapidly approaching the end of the year. Graduation is a week from today! Senior families and students should have received an email yesterday sharing the good news that we are now able to offer 4 tickets per graduate at each of our 2 graduation ceremonies. Also, by now seniors should have received confirmation via email about which ceremony they have signed up for. If you haven't received that yet, please contact Nora.Godfrey-Dismuk@ashland.k12.or.us on Monday.
Also, just a reminder that June 8 will be our last day of class for our Seniors and graduation rehearsal will be June 10. June 11 is graduation day and will be a half day for all students. Please see the schedule below.
Have a wonderful weekend!
Benjamin Bell
Half Days - 6/11 & 6/18
Device Return
The year is almost over and it is nearly time to collect all loaned technology (including district laptops, iPads, and hotspots). After a year of hard work, we need to refresh the devices by performing maintenance and updates so they are ready for use this coming fall. To make sure this happens, please return all technology by Friday, June 11 (Grade 12) or Friday, June 18 (Grades 9-11) at the latest.
Does your student plan to attend summer school? We still need your currently issued technology returned! Summer school teachers will make sure students have access to all necessary tools this summer, including technology if needed. Is your student’s loaned device a little worse for wear? Maybe it’s missing a keyboard key or has a cracked screen? We still need damaged devices returned so we can perform repairs.
You are also welcome to return devices directly to the AHS IVC Center. See below for details.

Graduation Ceremony - June 11th 5:30pm & 7:30pm
In order to have a safe and efficient celebration, AHS is will be hosting 2 ceremonies on Friday, June 11th. Each graduating student will receive 4 Graduation Ceremony Spectator tickets per student. Our ceremonies will be live streamed, as well.
- June 11th (5:30pm & 7:30pm) - Graduation Ceremonies
We are pleased to announce that each graduating senior will receive two additional Guest Tickets. After additional review of ODE’s guidelines for outside events, as well as assessing different seating configurations on the field, we are able increase our capacity to accommodate four total guests per student. Students will receive their four tickets at their graduation rehearsal on Thursday, June 10th . The only way for students to receive their tickets is to attend rehearsal.
We will continue with our plan to have two ceremonies Friday, June 11th. If you haven’t received a confirmation email regarding which ceremony you are in, please email Nora.Godfrey-DismuK@ashland.k12.or.us.
Rehearsal - June 10th - 10am & 1pm
- Ceremony 1 @ 10am on field
- Ceremony 2 @ 1pm on field
Students will receive their 4 Guest Tickets during this time. Bring water and dress appropriately for the weather that day.
Rehearsal is a requirement. NO rehearsal = NO ceremony
PARADE CANCELLED
Unfortunately, we are canceling our Graduation Parade on Saturday, June 12th. Due to logistical reasons we were not able to overcome, we were unable to host a successful parade.
We apologize for this change of plans, but our graduation committee will be putting their full efforts into the Graduation Ceremonies to make them as special as possible! We appreciate your understanding.
