LOOKING FOR ELEMENTARY PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE DAILY LEADERS
Thank you to all of the students who submitted videos to be our daily Pledge of Allegiance leader! We have been selecting students at random who are featured in all of our Virtual Campus classes. Teachers have been providing the directions and link to submit videos.
RCS Virtual Campus Schoolwide Read Aloud – October 27th!
We are excited to invite all of our students and families to our first community read aloud. On Tuesday, October 27th we will be reading, The Best Nut Party, which is a great story about kindness and inclusion. As an added bonus the illustrator is Rochester Community Schools Art Teacher, Mrs. Peasley. Mrs. Peasley will be sharing her experience as an illustrator and will teach our students how to draw some of the characters from the story. Go to RCSVirtual.com, @RCSVirtual (Twitter) or Facebook.com/RCSVirtual (Facebook) to watch the event.
RCS Virtual Campus PTSA Advisory Council
RCS Virtual Campus is looking to get student feedback and gather ideas on how to continue to build the Virtual Campus community. This group will meet via Zoom with Virtual Campus staff and administrators to share their insight. Students must be registered with their home school's PTSA to participate.

High School Pictures
More information is coming for Middle School and Elementary Pictures. If you cannot make it to one of the building sessions, or building makeups, the Virtual Campus will have one in December.
Virtual Campus High School Families,
For Virtual Campus students to receive their student ID and have their photos taken, Kaiser Studios requested students sign up for a time slot on the days that Kaiser will be at their home school. If a student cannot make it in to the building for a picture, there will be a make-up date for a later time published. If a current photo is not taken from Kaiser, the buildings will try to obtain last year’s photo if possible.
Dates for each school:
- Adams HS: Nov 16 and 20
- Adams home school students: http://bit.ly/adamsphotos2020
- RHS: Oct 27 and 30
- RHS home school students: http://bit.ly/rhsphotos2020
- SCHS: Nov 10 and 12

Times are the same for each high school and each day:
- 2:00-3:30 PM
- Photo appointments are every 5 minutes, and Kaiser can photograph up to 6 students per appointment.
Location is on the survey for each school when students sign up.
Contacts for any questions at each school are:
- Adams: Kathy Monaghan
- RHS: Kelsey Scarchilli
- Stoney: Lori Cross
