The Banting Student Services staff wanted to reach out to let you know that our hearts are with you during this difficult time. As your family continues processing the events that took place recently in Waukesha, we wanted to remind you that we are here for you. Here is a brief resource with tips for talking to your children after a traumatic event. Please be mindful of your child's exposure to media and adult conversations surrounding the event. Please keep us updated on any support your students may need from us. Also, feel free to reach out to any of us if you are in need of additional resources at this time. Holiday Treasures Gift Shop Open Through December 2
The Holiday Treasures Gift Shop is now open in the Innovation Station! Shop hours for the remainder of the week are as follows:
Wednesday, Dec. 1: 9:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Thursday, Dec. 2: 9:00 a.m. - 7:30 p.m.
Look for communication from teachers about which day your students’ class will be visiting the gift shop. Students can prepare for their shopping trip by previewing the shop online and creating a wish list with this link: https://1286000.holidaytreasures.com/.

Santa is Coming to Banting Thursday, December 2!
Santa will be visiting Banting on Thursday, Dec. 2 between 5:30-7:30 p.m. in the library. After visiting with Santa, decorate your own sugar cookie and enjoy some hot cocoa. The Holiday Gift Shop will be open during the event.
Thanks to a generous sponsorship from the Lazcano family, this event is FREE to all Banting students and their families. The PTO will be collecting donations at the event to benefit Blessings in a Backpack.

There are still some items on backorder from our spirit wear sales in October. We have been in contact with the company and will let you know when we hear more. We appreciate your patience with the product and shipping shortages many companies are facing. Please let us know if you have any questions that we can follow-up with individually.
