OCS Digital Learner News
A weekly newsletter for DL Families - March 19, 2021
OCS Staff eCards
On March 16, 2020, schools closed for in-person learning and students began distance learning. Although none of us could have known what the year ahead had in store, we came through it #oconeestrong because we knew we were #strongertogether. We are so grateful for the tireless dedication of our teachers and support staff.
Now, one year later, we hope you will join us in sending any of our free eCards to tell a teacher or staff member, "Thank you. You made a difference to me." Cards will reach recipients within 24 business hours and this opportunity will be available until the last day of the school year. Click here to say thank you: oconeeschools.org/ecards.

WriteScore for 2nd Graders
Digital learning students in grade 2 will be participating in an online writing task through the Write Score platform. The testing window for digital learning students to complete this experience will be from Monday, March 29th through Tuesday, March 30th. Please note the amount of tasks in Accelerate Education will be lightened during this particular week to accommodate the Write Score writing assignment.
Below is the link to an informational slideshow which includes a Write Score introductory video and login instructions. Your student's home school Assistant Principal will send the required login information to you on the day of the Write Score task. Please contact your school's AP if you have any questions.
