EXTRA CREDIT OPPORTUNITIES
DUE BY: May 12th .
1.Social Studies: Draw a map of Tennessee and label : Tennessee River, Cumberland River, Mississippi River, Appalachian Mountains, Nashville, Memphis, Chattanooga, Knoxville. Mark the state capital with a "star".
2.Social Studies: Create a visual demonstration of the Pilgrim's journey on the Mayflower and their first year in America. Present the visual to the class and tell about the journey and the Pilgrims' experiences.
3. Social Studies: Imagine you are creating a web site about the Chickasaw people. List topics that you would include and illustrations that you would want to post.
4. Social Studies:Find out when the English, Dutch, French, and Russians began to explore North America. Create a map that shows your findings.
5. Social Studies: Research Benjamin Franklin's life and make a timeline of his important contributions to society. Include events that highlight Franklin's literary, political, and scientific accomplishments.
6. Social Studies: 4th grade Talking Museum Night. Make a poster and present information on your Speech topic to parents on the evening of November 17th.
