TECHNOLOGY CAMPUS CHRONICLE
VOL. 4 NO. 1
PRINCIPAL'S CORNER
WEEK ENDING IN 8/13/2021
Dear OSES Family Members,
Welcome to the 2021-2022 school year. I hope your student(s) has enjoyed their first week of school. Our teachers and staff want to ensure you that we are being patient with each student and prepping them for a successful school year.
Thank you for all the positive feedback we have received thus far. Telling a teacher or staff member “thank you” has value beyond measure. We do understand there is room for improvement with many aspects of our school and we will adjust accordingly. Many of the challenges we are facing now are challenges that we experience annually short-term.
We are aware that many families are inquiring about improvements to the pick-up/drop off times, COVID safety, and other topics related to logistics.. I can assure our team is not passive to inquiries but may not be able to respond individually to each of you. Instead the school will publish updates and make announcements that pertain to these topics.
I hope everyone has a great weekend and we look forward to week two.

Sixth grade is back in session, and we’ve had a productive first week. It’s been great interacting with all the students on campus, as well as helping them adapt to the bell schedule and different periods. Also, we’ve been reviewing the expectations and procedures this week. Please remember to sign and date each syllabus contract after reviewing it, and return them to your teacher. Thank you!
Spanish - I am extremely excited about having the students back on our campus! We are learning about rules, procedures, and expectations for Spanish class. Please go over the syllabus and fill out the google form located and submit it (due on 8/13). Our Google Classroom and OSES Connect are up and running and a copy of the syllabus has been attached to it. Students were given the Google classroom code in class this week. Review the supply list and send the items as soon as you can. I will appreciate any disinfecting wipes/spray donations throughout the semester.
Students had a fun week. They are getting to know all their teachers and classmates.
They are starting to learn some Spanish-greeting phrases and words along with the Spanish alphabet and numbers. They also had a non-graded assessment (to see how much Spanish they know). Next week we will continue to learn vocabulary words and practice the alphabet and numbers. Thank you for your support!!! :)
