Claires Court Bulletin
NURSERY AND GIRLS
NEWS FROM THE HEADS
Mr Bevis is on a conference today, so his words reflect the service held this morning for Remembrance.
Across Claires Court, pupils and staff took part in an Act of Remembrance to commemorate the service of those men and women who died in the two World Wars and in later conflicts.
The School joined millions of others across the country who observed a two minute silence at 11am.
The service held for the Junior Girls, Senior Girls and Sixth Form was led by Louise Thomas, Assistant Head. The occasion was marked with readings and quotes by pupils and staff and the last post played by Sixth Former, Alistair Robert-Rhodes.
To close the ceremony, Sixth Form Head Boy, Thomas Williams and Senior Girls Deputy Head Girl, Allegra Slater laid a poppy wreath.

Welcome back to the second half of the term. This week I write my words looking out over Tolcarne beach on the second glorious day of the netball and rugby tour, surrounded by 46 enthusiastic, incredibly well behaved and dedicated young people.
