Ortega’s Oration
Dear Bryan High Community,
Let's start this year off with plenty of energy and determination to continue our success! As we start our second semester of the 2022-2023 academic year, it is important we celebrate and recognize our first semester school improvements:
1. The percentage of 9th graders who are on-track to graduate in four years increased from 83% to 84% from quarter 1 to quarter 2.
2. The percentage of teachers who referenced and utilized a learning and literacy goal daily increased from 76% to 88% from quarter 1 to quarter 2.
3. The number of positive student referrals increased from 122 to 308 from quarter 1 to quarter 2.
Our school improvement work is never complete, as we aim for 100% in every area and for every student. Together we can continue to make gains and ensure every student at Bryan High reaches his/her full potential. Thank you for helping us ensure your student attends school daily, arrives to class on time every block of the day, and is safe, respectful, and responsible.
