what Jefferson supports:

Thomas Jefferson, represented the republican party. He believed in having a strong state government, free trade, and a state bank so the state could issue money. Jefferson believed in having a strict interpretation of the constitution. although he believed in a strict interpretation he sometimes contradicted, for example he was responsible for the Louisiana Purchase. He excepted the idea of implied powers, he believed that implied powers are necessary for congress to exercise its stated powers. He wanted a agrarian republic, which means that he wanted the economy to be based on farming.
