Secret Santa Society Recipeint - August 19, 2019

Mrs. Lugo was able to receive a "grant of school supply donations" for our Mustangs to start the year prepared. The school supplies were given to forty-plus students needing backpacks or a variety of different school supplies to begin the school ready to learn.

September Literacy Night - September 4, 2019

Students during Literacy Nights are able to read to their parents, plus AR tests their books. Thank you parents for continuing to encourage our Mighty Mustangs to READ!

Grandparents Day - September 9, 2019

Wow, close to 300 students were able to read to their grandparents.

Grandparents were able to enjoy a muffin and juice with their grandchildren while they read to them. Thank you grandparents for always joining us and making beautiful memories for our students.

Pharr Memorial Library Collaboration "September Sign Up Card Month"

Yay, what a wonderful never ending gift!

We had close to 60 Mustang Students sign up for their very own library card during our two-day Curriculum Night. Thank you parents for allowing our students to sign up and encourage the love for reading!

Scholastic Book Fair - Week of September 23 -27, 2019

Woohoo! Henry Ford Elementary was able to reach the goal!

Thank you to our awesome Mustang Family for purchasing books and much more. We will be able to get more books in our students hands with the funds made with the book fair.

Pete The Cat Visits Henry Ford Elementary

Pete the Cat reminds our Mustangs to go by the Scholastic Book Fair to purchase the exciting newest books.

ALL STARS Bright Summer Readers - October 9, 2019

Bright Summer Readers were able to enjoy a presentation given to our students by our special presenters-Liberty Middle School Cheerleaders, Drum Line, Star Dancers, and Folkloric Team. Bright Summer Readers also were able to get as a treat-hot dogs, chips, popcorn, and drinks as part of the celebration. Thank you to all our Mighty Mustang Readers.
