COLUMBIA CITY ELEMENTARY
Columbia City hosted New York Times Best Selling Author (I love You More, 2001) Laura Duksta on Tuesday, January 24, 2017. Her visit was part of Celebrate Literacy Week Festivities. Mrs. Duksta is shown meeting with CCE VPK, PreK, and IND K-2 Classes. Mrs. Duksta also gave 2 presentations to K-2 and Grades 3-5 students.

Mr. Andy Schrader's TMH class was adopted by Catholic Charities for the holidays. The organization visited the students and shared numerous gifts with the children. Richardson's TMH students were also recently treated to a visit by our local K-9 unit from the Sheriff's Office. Officers shared a description of their jobs and how the K-9 animals are used. Officers demonstrated the work with these animals as well.
