Academic Notes

Math- Please have your students continue to work on their multiplication facts and skills. We cannot stress enough the importance of this skill. It will be used throughout the remainder of the year.

Some home strategies that can assist you in helping your students:

-Use flash cards

-Have students practice on iXL or First in Math

- Have students create their own problems.

We will be wrapping up our multiplication unit and moving into division.

ELA- Please make sure your students are reading every night and practicing their skills and strategies.

Social Studies- We are wrapping up explorers. Please have students continue to read and review their notes on a nightly basis. Regardless of what is written in their agendas, they always need to study.

Science- We will be wrapping up our astronomy unit. We have a tentative test date of January 14th. Again, please have your students read and review their science notes and textbook.
