Looking to Volunteer?
Elmwood Park Zoo is looking for single day volunteers for October, November, and December. These are family friendly activities that would be great for students who are looking for service hours. The events and sign-up links:
Boo at the Zoo is the Zoo's animal trick or treat event. You may be helping to hand out treats, greeting folks at the entrance or helping to escort vendors.

Wild Lights is the Zoo' evening light display. You may be helping guests line up for Santa, escort vendors, greet guests or help with a craft table.

ACE Mentor Program
- ACE360 Online - a 100% virtual career exploration and professional development series | Oct - Dec 2021
- In-Person - students work with Architects, Engineers, and Construction professionals on mock design projects | Jan - Apr 2022
- Design & Build Project - students, mentors, and community members make improvements to a public space | Jan - May 2022
- Hybrid - students can participate online AND in-person | Oct - May
