March 21st

A word from Mrs. White

This is the start of our fourth and final quarter! We are in the home stretch! Our last quarter will be filled with learning and lots of fun! We have re-scheduled all of our snow day fun for this Friday. Career day, ice cream truck, and decorate Mrs. White like a donut will all take place on Friday!

Some of our fourth and fifth grade sports teams are also kicking off. This is going to be an exciting time since we didn't get to do that last year. They will be strictly intramural but still lots of fun!

Do you have a student turning four on or before september first? See important preK enrollment info below.

Finally, the color run fundraiser is in full swing!! You should've received info in thursday folders before the snow came. Let's make this our best color run ever!!! The kiddos have missed it so much!

Happy Spring Dennis Families!

On Wednesday Mrs. White when head-to-head with the teachers of classes with the highest amount raised during Dollars For Dolphins! It was a fierce competition but, in the end, Mrs. White came out undefeated! Her favorite flavor was "booger". Watch her take on Mrs. Larson in the video below.

Fact or Opinion? Mrs. Searl's third graders know!

In class, groups of third graders were given a silly crime story, witness statements and a list of possible suspects. Groups had to determine which parts of the witness statements were fact. They used their factual clues to choose the right suspect! Every group was able to crack their case!

Stressed out?

Here are some awesome stress busters from our fabulous EL teacher, Ms. Phelps!
