Cultural Fair: Parents, Families, and Friends!!! We are looking to have a Cultural Fair at Edison on October 27! In order to make this successful, we need volunteers to help make it successful! What we are looking for are parents or family members to showcase the amazing parts of different cultures represented at Edison. This could look like a variety of things: Dances, crafts or artifacts, showing an amazing aspect of culture, etc. We are looking for a commitment for most of the day on that Friday (8:00 am to 2:40 pm). If you are interested, PLEASE fill out the google form! If you have any questions, please contact Tiffany Williams at williati@u4sd.org.Cultural Fair Participation Flier-for parents
Community Advisory Committee:We are starting a committee to get feedback from parents, families and community members! This committee will meet via Zoom on Thursdays! This isn’t a full year commitment; we are looking for parents that are interested in the various topics being covered to participate. We are looking to improve at Edison and get feedback from our stakeholders! Please fill out this form if you are interested in being a part of this. September Students of the Month
These students have gone above and beyond and received their picture on the bulletin board and a brand new Edison T-shirt! Congrats to our September Winners!
Terry Gines-Terry is always a positive presence in my classroom. He helps other students with our assignments and he always has a smile on his face.
Xavier Shipley-All conversations I have had with him he has been respectful and kind. He is new to Edison this school year and has been a positive role model for others.
Aven Peters-Aven is very kind and very helpful. She is exceptionally polite. She always say 'please' and 'thank you.' She takes on tasks that are not necessarily her responsibility just to be helpful and is very open and kind with her teachers and peers. She quietly does that right thing even if no one is watching.
Joanna Bradley-She did well on her MAP test and is always willing to help others.
Sani Gatson-Sani is an incredibly hard worker and always looks for ways she can be involved and improve herself. She has grown into her confidence and with this confidence she encourages people around her to also strive to be their best!
Reaia Smith-Reaia has stood out to us by starting the school year with a bright, positive attitude. Her helpfulness was noticed during the 6th grade transition day. She has remained a strong influence in the classroom and takes care in her academic work and encourages her peers to do so as well. Reaia is well organized and involved in extracurriculars.
Krithi Kollipara-Student was kind and considerate to her classmates and demonstrated stewardship in the classroom.
Rayna Harshbarger-Rayna is working well in her classes, turning in classwork, and asks clarifying questions well. She uses the I in WICOR to have success in her classes!
Home Access Center (Student Grades): You can access grade information by clicking on the Home Access link on the Unit 4 website. If you have not logged in before and it does not give you the opportunity to change your password, you can contact the main office and they will be able to help you. Click the HAC link for more information.
ID Cards: All students started receiving their student IDs last week. Students who did not receive one will be pulled to take a new picture and get one this week. As a reminder, all students must wear their IDs on a daily basis once they have received them.
Comet Calendar: One of our goals this year is to try and communicate what students are learning more effectively. The Comet Calendar Link is for you to be able to view the essential information that is being presented in your students classes, as well as any homework they may have. It is replacing the homework calendar that some teachers previously had. As you get on the calendar and see something that you would like to provide feedback on, please don't hesitate to reach out to your students grade level administrator. We want to make it as user friendly as possible.

This request goes directly to our Student Service Team who will meet with the student as soon as they are available.
