Construction on the highway has increased traffic and congestion, for parents, buses, and the community. CISD is in contact with TXDOT and county officials. Please heed all construction signage and do not block traffic on the highway.

For your safety, and the safety of others in your vehicle, please do not enter the car rider line before 3PM. Waiting in the median on Highway 105 could be dangerous. Feel free to pull in and park in the parking lot closest to the highway to wait out the line safely. We are working hard to reduce the time parents are spending in line and have been finishing car rider dismissal at about 3:30PM.

**Please note: Out of consideration for the parents waiting in the car rider line, we do not dismiss car riders to parents who "walk up" to the school. You will be asked to wait until the end of the car rider line.

Starting Monday, August 21st, students arriving after 8:00AM must be walked by parents to the front office where you can check them in. Students not in class at 8:00AM will be marked Tardy for the day.

In an effort to reduce the number of tardy students and cars in line in the morning, we accept car riders starting at 7AM.

• We have a limited number of staff on duty.
• Students will need to unload themselves.
• Students will be supervised in the cafeteria where they can read or work on homework.
• The front office will not open until 7:25AM. Staff on duty will not be able to take messages. Parents with business in the school or front office will be asked to wait outside until the school opens at 7:25AM.

August 21st

September 4th

• Student Holiday

Parent lunch visitors welcome starting August 21st. There is limited space for parent visitors during lunch. Reserve your place to ensure you will be able to eat with your student. Please sign up using the link below. We ask that you limit your visits to no more than twice a week so other parents have the opportunity to schedule times with their students.

Did you know there's an app for that? The MealViewer app allows parents and students to see the lunch menu for the day, week, or month. It includes pictures, nutrition information, and even information on allergens all from your computer, tablet, or phone. You can also find more information about school meals at Austin by visiting the Conroe ISD Child Nutrition Website.

Don't forget! You must complete an application every year if your child receives Free or Reduced meals.

Eating breakfast at school? Students must be in the cafeteria by 7:50AM.

• Student Lunch $3.20
• Student Reduced Lunch $0.40
• Non-student Lunch/2nd Student Lunch $4.60 (Teachers, Parents, Siblings)

• Store bought treats only.
• When bringing birthday treats, please remember they must be left in the front office. The classroom teacher will distribute them at the end of class.
