End of the Year Procedures
The end of the year is fast approaching. We will be putting a list of your checked out items in your box this week. Please look at the list and start rounding up and turning in any materials that you will not need for the rest of the year. Hold on to any large items, like document cameras, until the last day. This will help us out so we do not get bombarded on the last day with everyone's returns and make signing off on your check out sheet that much faster. If there are any books that you would like to take home for the summer, just let us know so we can renew your check out.
Scholastic Book Fair!!
We will be having the Scholastic book Fair in the library May 5-9. This book fair is BOGO!! buy one item , get one of equal or lesser value free!! A great way to stock up on summer reading. We will be having a special teacher only preview with snacks on Friday, May 2 during 6th, 7th, and 8th periods. Come browse, start your pile, have a snack and enter to win free books!! See you there.
3 YA books turned into summer movies
If you want something to talk to your students about at the beginning of the year, try to catch some summer movies during your break. 3 hugely popular books made into movies are set for release this summer. Here are their trailers. If you want to check out The Giver or the Maze Runner over the summer, let us know. We would be happy to set them aside for you!
