Survival Colony 9

Survival Colony 9
Querry Glenn is in trouble. He lives in a post-apocalyptic world (known to be future planet earth) overtaken by vicious creatures called the Skaldi. The Skaldi posess human bodies and act as them, making it difficult to even trust your best friends. He lives with his colony, Survival Colony 9. Possibly the last group of humans on Earth. To top that all off. Querry can't remember anything past the last few months! In this novel, Querry will have to learn what's beyond the boundaries his colony has set for them, and learn that even his closest allies may become his worst enemy.
What is so powerful in this novel?
Although the cliches in the start of the book seemed to shadow other 'world-is-ending' stories, I found this book was full of surprises. When I was positive that one event was going to happen, or that one character was the villain, I was completely surprised that I was incorrect most of the time. The plot twists seem to fit perfectly with the plot and dialogue, and once you found out the reason behind the madness, it all made sense. The book also had very well written writing to describe the characters. Most of the characters were very complex and had some personality to them. All in all, I found this to be a great book and I would recommend this to readers who enjoy dystopian fiction and apocalyptic literature.
