Winter Activities
Winter activities started last Friday, January 27th. Unfortunately we had to cancel today's activities due to the extreme cold weather. We are trying to schedule a make-up session and will let everyone know when we have one scheduled. Remember all students have an early release day, so that they can attend their Winter Activity. Here is a document with everything that you need to know for winter activities. Please reach out if you have any questions. We are excited to have students participating in different activities.
Early Release Day Tuesday, February 7, 2023
Just a reminder that this coming Tuesday, February 7, we have an early release day for all students. All students will be released at 12:00 PM, so that staff can attend training across the district.

During the week of February 13th-17th you have the opportunity to come and have lunch with your loved one. If you would like to participate, please fill out the attached form. You will just choose a date and enjoy the time at school. If you plan on attending, please fill out the form by February 8th, so that we may get an accurate count for lunch each day.
Family S.T.E.A.M. Night
Family S.T.E.A.M. Night was a huge success. Families had the opportunity to have a great meal together and be able to reconnect together. Thank you again to our amazing kitchen staff: Heather Gokey, Mary Rasco, Edie Root for feeding everyone at the event. Students and their families then did several different activities together that all came under the umbrella of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts or Mathematics. Thank you to Ms. Smith and BJ Esty for helping with organizing as well as running stations for students. Thank you to Kelly Broker-Campbell from the River Valley Tech Center for demonstrating the robotic fish and allowing students to navigate it through the water. The night was a great opportunity to introduce S.T.E.A.M. activities.
The Little Mermaid Jr.
The cast for The Little Mermaid Jr. has been rehearsing and working on getting ready for the show. They have been putting in the hard work at school and practicing at home as well. I am excited to see the show in March. Students started rehearsing this week and have an intensive schedule to get them ready for the performances on March 24-25. Looking forward to bringing the arts back to Weathersfield. Please plan on joining us for a great night of musical theater. .
