DMES's Monthly Newsletter: September, 2020
2020-2021's BIG Goal: We will have 100 percent of our children reading on or above grade level.
From the Principal...
I am SO excited to have our first round of iReady data done! The iReady program helps us to see how our children are performing in both reading and math, and then it selects lessons for students to work on that helps them to grow in the areas they most need to. With that in mind, I'd like to dedicate this month's message to helping you learn more about iReady.
A great resource to start with is the iReady Family Center: https://i-readycentral.com/familycenter/what-is-i-ready/
I have also attached a document (below) that introduces you to what iReady is, helps you understand your child's results, and gives you some tips to help them grow. We will send your children's reports on Friday, October 2. Please contact your child's teacher if you do not receive them.
If our students - your children - are going to reach their highest academic potential, I am convinced that data like iReady data will be so important! Please contact your child's teacher or me if you have questions about how we can help you to help your child.
