Humboldt’s tests this week:
May 2 – 6: Science test for grades 8, and students currently taking Biology
Please encourage your student(s) to get a good night’s sleep before the test, and to eat breakfast when they come to school.
Quarter 4 PARENT-TEACHER CONFERENCES
Thursday, May 12 from 4:00-7:00 pm.
Quarter 4 Parent-Teacher conferences will be held in teacher's classrooms OR virtually if parents choose. Conferences are a little less than two weeks away and we want to make sure that you have more than enough time to sign-up for a time with your child's instructors. We have created a timeline of dates so you know when you can sign-up or if you need help you can contact the proper staff to set up your conferences. Just like last quarter, you will have the option to set up a google meet or come to Humboldt and meet with your child's teacher in their classroom but we still ask that an appointment is made beforehand.
Quarter 4 Conferences, CLICK HERE!
Parents may enter Humboldt using the main entrance and pick up their student's schedule in the main lobby of first floor. Translation services will be available on first floor.
Senior Class Information and Updates
Senior Field Trips and Picnic
Field Trips
As the year winds down, we have just a month or so left with our beloved seniors, The Class of 2022. Last week they went rollerskating as a class during MCA tests and students said it was such a great time. Many students skated for the first time and learned from their classmates. Those that chose not to skate were able to hangout and play arcade games or purchase snacks. Many memories were made.
As part of their farewell gift, the seniors, will also be heading to a Saint Paul Saints game May 24th. The entire class will head downtown to CHS Field for the 11am game and will eat lunch at the stadium. They will return shortly before dismissal. Students are encouraged to wear Humboldt gear and we will take a class picture at the stadium!
Picnic
Below we are sharing information about the Senior Picnic and Wishlist created to help provide needed items for the event. The picnic is a chance for seniors to celebrate with games, music and lunch once they have turned in all their school materials. They are welcome to hangout with classmates and enjoy a fun afternoon together as they prepare to say farewell. We are so happy for our students and want celebrate them and their accomplishments while at Humboldt. If you or anyone you know is able to help please use the link to purchase items or share the information if you are able. We thank you all for being a great support for our students and school.
Senior Scholarships
Above you will find updated scholarships information. Please see if your student qualifies and apply by the deadlines given. If students have questions or need help they can see Ms. Farrell in the Students Support Services office.
