Diamond View School Principal's Report- Mrs. Heimbigner

Hello Diamond View Students and Families,

I hope you are off to a fantastic start to this school year. We are in the middle of our 5th week of school and in some ways I feel like we have just started, and other times like we have been here for quite some time. Next week progress reports for the first half of the trimester will be sent home. The teachers have been posting their grades online and you can access them through your SchoolWise account, so there should not be any surprises. Students and parents are encouraged to check their grades weekly.

I have enjoyed meeting and getting to know many of you. I am still working on names and I apologize that I still need some reminders. Below you will find some of our events and important reminders.

Have a great week,

Mrs. Heimbigner

School Discipline

In order to help keep parents aware of infractions of our discipline policies at school, parent notifications of Lunch Time Detentions are emailed home on Fridays. If you know your child has received a detention and you have not received an email notification, check your junk email account and add us to your contacts. If that doesn't work, please call the school and make sure we have your correct email on file. Demerits will be mailed home and we ask that you sign them and return them to the main office.

Our school discipline plan is laid out in our school handbook. You can access this by following this link. http://www.diamondviewschool.org/documents/DV%20Student%20Handbook%2019-20.pdf

For quick reference here is a list of consequences found on page 29 of our handbook.

Please remind your child to power off their cell phone as soon as they get to school to avoid phones being confiscated.
