Robotics Start-Up Grants Available - Grades 1-12
TechPoint Foundation for Youth's (TPF4Y) 2020-21 Robotics Start-up grant is now open! We want to help launch a robotics team at every school in Indiana.
Why should you start a robotics team at your school?
- Robotics develops student interest in STEM careers & builds 21st-century skills
- Robotics build’s Indiana’s workforce of tomorrow in high-demand careers
- Robotics helps teachers connect the classroom to careers

TPF4Y’s Robotics Start-Up Grant covers the cost of all of the start-up resources needed to launch a VEX robotics team!
If your elementary school, middle school, or high school does not have a VEX team, then you are eligible to apply! No prior robot knowledge is necessary, this grant will provide educators with everything needed to get started!

Computer Science Professional Development for K-12 Educators
IDOE is working with five organizations, including CodeHS, IndianaComputes!, IU School of Informatics and Computing, Nextech, and Project Lead The Way to bring FREE computer science professional development to Indiana K-12 traditional public and public charter school teachers. All summer 2020 opportunities have shifted to a virtual format. More information can be found here. Contact Jake Koressel with questions.
Seeking K-12 Science Educators
IDOE, in collaboration with the Hoosier Association of Science Teachers, Inc., is continuing work on Phase II of the Science Framework. Phase II will focus on identifying and implementing science and engineering process standards. IDOE is looking for science educators to share their expertise in this process. Interested K-12 educators should complete this form. For questions regarding the Science Framework or participation, please contact Emily Bruning.
