Join us as we boost ePortfolio implementation knowledge and wisdom! We will clarify the vision of the LISD ePortfolio. Explore lesson design that allows for student collaboration and reflection.
Nurturing student growth through digital feedback
Explore a variety of digital tools that enable teachers and students to make connections, grow by collaborating, learning, and sharing with others. Experience the digital feedback process and how it can be a powerful way to impact learning inside or outside of your classroom walls.
Making the Most of Blended Learning
Teachers of all skill levels will discover ways to communicate and connect with students through learning management systems. Participants will learn how to use research-based strategies to foster an effective blended learning environment. Time will be spent learning approaches and tools for engaging today's digital natives.
Amplifying Learning in the Digital Classroom
Teachers of all skill levels are encouraged to attend as we infuse the research-based classroom management strategies to foster creating an effective digital learning environment. Participants will learn a variety of strategies and tools for engaging today's digital natives inspired by the book Amplify by Katie Muhtaris and Kristin Ziemke.

Google Apps for Education Basics
Teachers will focus on learning the platform of Google Apps for Education products and explore ways the platform could be utilized. Participants will explore the functionality and characteristics of Google Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms.
iWork/iMovie Basics
Participants will focus on student creation, critical thinking, and synthesis using iWorks and iMovie on the iPad. Participants will explore the functionality and characteristics of Keynote, Numbers, Pages and iMovie.
SMART Board Basics
This hands-on workshop will give teachers opportunities to learn and practice various tools in SMART Notebook to hone their SMART Board skills. Teachers will explore various strategies for integrating the SMART Board into instruction as well.
Google Add Ons and Chrome Extensions
Explore Google add-ons and Chrome extensions that save time, increase productivity and easily generate professional looking products for both teachers and students. Learn how to use unique tools that summarize, provide assessment and feedback, and help bring curriculum alive and increase student engagement.
Online Google Docs

Collaboration is made easy with Google Docs! Learn smart editing tools, provide feedback, work offline, create a table of contents, and more. This entire class is completed online in Google Classroom.

Tech 101: iPad & Macbook Basics
Tech getting you down? Join us to learn all of the tricks, tips, and troubleshooting for your MacBook and iPad. Participants will explore the ins and outs of the basic functions of Apple devices to ensure successful integration in the digital learning environment. Bring your MacBook, iPad, and appropriate chargers.
