MCBA Reading Contest Coming to a Close 6th Grade
For 6th graders (at TMS, along with 4th & 5th graders at TES) - the MCBA (Massachusetts Children's Book Awards) voting breakfast has been scheduled for Tuesday, March 7, 2017. 6th graders must have read and reviewed 5 MCBA books in order to participate in the breakfast. The review sheets are located in the TMS Office conference room. The deadline for all 5 review sheets is Friday, February 17th. Please see Mrs. Leo with any questions.

February 8, 2017- How to Make and Keep Friends: Understanding the Social Lives of Teens
7:00-9:00pm at Tyngsborough Middle School, 50 Norris Rd, Tyngsborough, MA- Upstairs in the Library

This seminar for parents will explain why the teen/parent relationships can become strained and even volatile. Teen social relationships are complex and this workshop explores those complexities so parents are better equipped to help their teen through these challenging years. Parents will receive tips on how to remain connected to their teen and how to frame up the social difficulties that their teens will likely encounter. This seminar is based on the book, How to Make and Keep Friends: Tips for Teens co-authored by Nadine Briggs and Donna Shea is scheduled to be published Spring 2017.
*This Workshop is FREE and Open to the Public! It is for BOTH Parents and Educators!

PALS Program is Busy!
PALS will also be selling Carnations for Valentine's Day. Carnations will be $1.00 and can be purchased at all lunches from February 8th-February 13th. Carnations will be delivered on Valentine's Day. All proceeds will go towards the PALS program.
This work has brought me to my knees!

WINTER SPORTS AWARD NIGHT for all athletes that play a High School Sport only, will take place on:

All Athletic Registration forms can be filled out on-line, excluding Physicals. All physicals must go through the nurse’s office. Please take the following steps to complete these forms.
Step 1: Log into the Parent Portal at the following address:
https://powerschool.tyngsboroughps.org
Step 2: Click on athletic registration link on the left hand side to complete the registration process.
Option to pay user-fee online is also available on this page.
