Coyote Virtual Dance Party!
We’re only 2 weeks away from kicking off our Coyote Virtual Dance Party on October 5th, with the Big Event being on October 16th!!! Our goal this year is to raise funds to support our staff and student families with their learning needs (distance or back at school) but more importantly to strengthen our school community and give our kids something positive and fun to look forward to. We are excited to see our school come together in this fundraising program that will give us an extra boost of energy and much needed funds, too! Check out a quick overview of our fundraising program.

Progress Reports
Resources to stop hate and talk about racism
Each week we hope to share resources (books, articles, etc.) to stand up to hatred. Resources that educate, empower, and uplift. We hope you find them helpful and appreciate you sharing any resources that are particularly powerful for you or your family.
Our site library technician is working on a library site that will include many resources, including resources on inclusive communities and at talking about stopping hate and racism.
Check out these titles from the NY Times: Picture Books about Student Community Activism
The first eight families to email me will receive a personal copy of one of the titles sent to their homes.
Also, last weeks resource has many many links for students of all ages and for parents:
Common Sense Media Guide to Talking About Race, Racism, and Hate
I need a device, how will I get one for my child?
If you need a device for your child (don't have a current one), please email our library tech, Maily Wester, at MailyW@fsusd.org
She will arrange a time and date for pick-up. The pick-up will include information on how to navigate turning on and accessing the Chromebook. That guide can also be found here:
My device is broken/not working, how do i get it fixed?
Use this guide to problem solve first: CH Try First Guide
Please email me at SteveTr@fsusd.org if you need hotspot assistance. The hotspot will not replace wireless, even slow wireless. It is to provide basic connection for families.

News from our PTA
Help the kiddos show off their CHE pride in spiritwear, every Friday. Don't have spiritwear or need new apparel? We can help! Click here and scroll to the bottom of that page for the spiritwear section. To place your order online you will need to create a login, if you do not already have one. Any purchases made by Sept. 24th, will be available for a drive-thru pick-up at the school on Sept. 25th. The time is yet to be determined. Spiritwear is limited, so login and make your purchase today! **due to the current COVID pandemic, returns or exchanges cannot be accommodated.**
We are also having a bi-monthly spiritwear giveaway starting Friday, Oct. 2nd. Share photos of your student(s) in their spiritwear on Fridays in our Facebook spiritwear folder and they'll be entered into the drawing. We'll randomly draw a winner on the last Friday, every other month, for fun prizes.
