Wear the Peace - make a T-shirt
eTwinning project
What happens:
Partners are going to make paper T-shirts, decorate them and write peace messages on them , their motto and slogan for peace. Instructions how to make the T-shirt are given by Bulgarian and American students partners. Each project partner chooses the design of his/her own T-shirt and writes his/her message on it. To present the T-shirt participants on the project need to take a photo of the T-shirt, to make a short video for the working process and to put these resources on a glog on the Pen pals' glogster account. Working process:
Making a colourful T-shirt is a creative learning through doing activity and partners could make it in their real classrooms. They can learn how to make the T-shirt from their Bulgarian and American partners who have described and shown all stages of creative process on that wiki page: http://multilingualclassroombyuspeh.wikispaces.com/Make+a+T-shirt+project . Partners are going to meet, connect and create glogs together in a virtual classroom organized on GlogsterEDU site. Bulgarian partners are giving a free Glogster edu student's account with premium features to each of their partners on Pen pals ambassador account. When the T-shirt is ready, coloured and with peace message on it , make a photo and a short video to present it and put all together in a glog. Then post the glog on your wiki page: http://peacetshirt.wikispaces.com/. Also partners could collaborate on wiki, twitter and Facebook, using their blogs and forums. Using Skype and Google hangouts as a conference connection is also recommended. Project should be submitted on the first of June, twitting all glogs collected in a glogflow to Unesco, UNICEF and the UN.
