Student Spotlight
Andrew Richardson
Below is a video video of a speech he recently gave at the Ohio Board of Education meeting. This was a really big honor and he represented himself and our school exceptionally well. Please excuse the poor quality of the video. It was recorded from an overflow room on a monitor. The very beginning of his speech was also cut off, but you can hear most of it pretty well. Way to go Andrew.

Wood County ADAMHS Youth Survey
In November, the Wood County ADAMHS Youth Survey will be administered to students in grades 5-12 to collect basic data, concerning the use of alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs, school safety, and mental health indicators. This information helps us to better plan prevention efforts, obtain federal and state grant money for prevention planning, and provides trend data so that we can see how our current prevention efforts are doing.
Please know that this survey is anonymous. No personal information is requested nor can any response be linked to any individual student. The purpose of the survey is to determine overall patterns of behavior and attitudes about alcohol, tobacco, prescription and other drugs by youth of various ages as well as school safety, and mental health indicators. The survey will not identify what any one individual is thinking, feeling, or doing. The answers given cannot be used to identify students. If you would like to see this survey in advance please let me know and I will give you a copy.
If you prefer that your child does not participate in the Wood County ADAMHS Youth Survey, please fill out the form below by November 1, 2017. Thank you for your time and consideration.
