Symbolic Relationships
Mutualism;
Honey bees and flowers. Flowers provide nectar to the bees. The bees use nectar to make honey. As the bees fly flower to flower tiny grains of pollen get stuck to the bee. The bee moves the pollen without knowing it. The pollination is needed for the flowers to reproduce. So they both benefit, bee gets nectar, flower gets pollinated.
Crocodile and the plover bird. The plover bird gets in the crocodiles mouth and picks the tiny bits of food stuck in its teeth. The plover bird eats then and often complete its diet. This cleans the crocodile's teeth and keeps its mouth fresh and free from infections. So, the plover bird gets its food and the crocodile gets his mouth cleaned. The crocodile benefits and the plover bird is neither helped or unharmed.
Humans and mosquitoes. The insect lands on and take blood from humans. The mosquito benefits as it uses the blood for energy. The human is harmed and could become infected with disease. So the mosquitoes benefits and the human is harmed.
Humans Effecting The Ecosystem
•Good Things; They can help find hurt animals and help them. They will protect the animals and release them back once there making progress.
•Bad Things; They will cut trees and empty the forest making it hard for the animals to live. It would also take many animals homes away. Another thing is that they will sometimes take the animals from there ecosystem and put them in zoos.
