Safety Concern
There is a growing number of students being picked up by cars in front of the school, on 229/Main St., and in the front church parking lot during afternoon dismissal. This causes concern for the students walking in this area due to the high amount of traffic.
As a reminder, it is school policy that all car riders be picked up in the parking lot behind the church during afternoon dismissal. Only students who truly walk to their home or a location should exit through the front of the school. Please remind any grandparents, babysitters, etc. who pick students up at dismissal of our school policy. Thank you for helping us keep all of our students safe!

Annual Polar Express
We hope you saw our stunning hallway during our annual Polar Express event. Wow! How blessed were we to celebrate Christmas with our kiddos and have so much help and support from all parents and staff at St. Louis. The Polar Express was such a wonderful experience and as many have stated, “The Best Day Ever!” We are so grateful for all the help and support-from donations of cookies, bells, crock pots, tape, lights, napkins, cups, cocoa to the unseen hands that came in to turn this vision into a reality.
We wanted to say thank you to all the parents who came in to help us set up for our annual event. We also had additional help from Diane Dierkman and her sister Nancy Prickel who revised our train and made all the props in the hallway. From the train, to the bells, the boy and conductor, to the entrance of the tunnel, the train track and decorations throughout the hallway. THANK YOU!! We truly appreciate all your help and support and can't imagine all the time you all spent working on these props.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for all your help and support. It meant the world to us. Many Blessings to you all.

AR Auction - mark your calendars!
Dear JUNIOR HIGH Parents,
We are excited for another year of Accelerated Reader (AR)! And that also means we are excited for the upcoming AR AUCTION!
In order for the year to be a success, we are in need of MUCH assistance. If anyone is willing to help chair the event with myself and another parent, that would be awesome! Shoot me an email at sgiesting@st.louisschool.org and let me know. I would like to have two parents by March 1, 2020.
We could use your help and generosity in others ways to help us get awesome prizes:
Donate a gift for the auction or small prize (company give away items, giftcards, and unwanted gifts are welcome!)
Make a cash/check donation to go towards a gift (tax deductible - let me know via email if you need this number). Make checks payable to St. Louis / memo: AR Auction
Donate $10.00 for food/drink for the event
Volunteer to be part of the committee to work the day of (crowd control help, auction table worker, point tallier, etc.)
* THIS IS ALL OPTIONAL SO PLEASE DO NOT FEEL LIKE YOU MUST DONATE. WE HAD AN AMAZING TURN OUT LAST YEAR AND SET THE BAR HIGH FOR OURSELVES - We had just over $3,000 in prizes!*
