The Good News
Saint John XXIII April 26, 2020
Many of us have travelled the road to Emmaus, doubting if God is with us and there He was, walking right beside us the entire journey.
Leadership Message
We LOVE our SJXXIII Volunteers: Together we can!
This week was full of celebrations! We showed our world some love on Wednesday, April 22 with Earth Day! The next day, we celebrated our AMAZING school secretary, Mrs. Barb Potter, for Administrative Assistant's Day. Thank you to all of you who sent messages and blessings her way!
We need to take some important time to pause and celebrate our valued Saint John XXIII Volunteers now as this week April 19-25 was National Volunteer week. Each year, we plan and set aside a special day or evening to celebrate our SJ volunteers. This year we won't get the same opportunity to shower you with our gratitude at school with a special breakfast or Spring concert or handmade cards from our kids and staff.
That doesn't mean our gratitude is any less...WE LOVE YOU SJ VOLUNTEERS!
We want to take this opportunity, on behalf of all our Saint John XXIII kids and staff to extend our sincere gratitude and love to each and every one of our treasured volunteers.
Thank you to our School Council Executive members: Chair: Leslie-Anne Oshust, Co-Chair: Vanessa Gillis, Vice-Chair: Alana Seymour, Treasurer: Sherry Charron, and Secretary: Corrine Hill. Thank you ladies for the extensive time and energy you give to our school community.
Thank you to our daily parent volunteers who devote so much to enhance our school community. We are so grateful for your contributions to our: Apple Program, Hot Lunches, Milk, Reading, Library/Learning Commons, Office help, School Clothing, Dances, and classroom help.
Special thanks is extended to our volunteers from our parish and our community, who continue to share their time and gifts with our school community.
It truly takes a village and for each and every one of you who contribute in any way, we thank you and celebrate you EVERY DAY!
Blessings,
Mrs. Bonnie-Lynne Boehm, Principal

Hello St. John Families! I miss hearing your beautiful voices in the music room. I know many of you will want to find ways to be musical at home, so I created a website for you! On this website you can find song-based picture books, name that tune, music activities, Sing Alongs, and more! Keep singing!
