Effective Immediately

Bellmawr School District Updated Guidelines

The New Jersey Department of Education (NJDOH) and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) released new recommendations for isolation and quarantining for schools effective immediately. Please reference the attached information for the latest guidance as of January 12, 2022.

Thank you for your support and diligence,

Mrs. Danielle Sochor, Superintendent of Schools

We have established safety protocols that will be put in place and followed for our students that are returning to school on days 6-10 after testing positive for Covid-19. These protocols pertain to masks and time unmasked. A child that is returning to school on days 6-10 will eat breakfast in the cafeteria, as we can have a safe setup with appropriate space for eating unmasked. If possible, serving breakfast at home during these days would help with not needing to leave the classroom to eat. For lunch, a separate area will be arranged with tables or desks for students to eat unmasked at a safe distance in the cafeteria. Finally, during gym and recess, masks must be worn.

Due to the daily operation of the preschool program, if a student tests positive for Covid-19, the child will need to quarantine for the full ten days.
