Gallatin High Update
Important Back to School Information
Welcome Back!
Hello Raptor students and parents/guardians,
Our teachers have been getting ready all week and are excited to welcome you back to school on Monday! This update contains some important information about the upcoming week.
Raptors boys won their first two tournaments and the girls finished 3rd and 4th.
Student Schedules
As you may have heard, classes at Gallatin High are very full! We are working to balance our classes so it is important to note that schedules may change before the first day of school. All students should check their schedules in PowerSchool on Sunday evening to ensure they have their updated schedule. Students can now view their study hall room assignments as well. All students will have time to walk their schedule on the first day of school before classes begin on Monday.
Instructions for accessing schedules:
Schedules can be accessed through PowerSchool portal. Click on Grades and Attendance on the left hand side.
First Day of School
There will not be zero period classes on Monday, August 30th.
We will provide a schedule with detailed information for freshmen when they arrive at 8:25 a.m. on the 30th. We can’t wait to welcome our newest Raptors to GHS. We will look forward to seeing our tenth- through twelfth-grade students arrive in the afternoon. See below for where students should report on Monday.
First Student will run two morning bus routes on August 30, the first at normal school time for ninth-grade students and the second later in the morning for tenth- through twelfth-grade students. You will receive an email with more details about route times prior to August 30.
Along with the rest of the district, Gallatin High School will have a one-to-one technology program in place. Students will be checking out their Chromebook on Monday afternoon provided that their parent/guardian has submitted this Permission Form. An insurance plan is available for interested families (there is a link on the permission form).
Tuesday, August 31st, students will attend their normal schedule.
All Season Activitiy Passes
Raptor football notched their first win of the season on Friday against Missoula Big Sky.

If you need more help or want a locker and didn't request one, stop by the main office.
Parking and Student Drop Off
With over 400 more students this school year, it is important that parents follow traffic guidelines to alleviate congestion and make it safer for our students to park and walk to class. Please only use the eastern parking lot and Annie Street for student drop off. Only students intending to park for the school day should be driving through the west lot. New this year, the northern entrance off Cottonwood is one way exit only.
BSD7 Mask Policy Guidance 2021-22
On August 23, 2021, the Board of Trustees declared an unforeseen emergency within the meaning of that term as set forth in Title 20, Chapter 9, Part 8, MCA immediately effective and to continue until terminated by a vote of the Board of Trustees. Additionally, the Board of Trustees approved the Superintendent’s recommendation for revisions to district policy #1905 - Face Coverings as Protective Equipment. The FAQ’s below are intended to answer the various questions you may have regarding mask requirements in Bozeman Public Schools. Please note, masks are required in all buildings for students, staff, and visitors. Click HERE for mask guidance FAQs.
All In One Permission Forms
Parents:
If you haven’t already done so, please go on to your PowerSchool account and fill out the All In One Permission Forms. These forms are mandatory and need to be done every year for each child. Call 522-4603 or email cindy.reuter@bsd7.org if you need help.
