Welcome to the 2022-23 School Year!

Greetings! We are grateful for our returning students and would like to extend a warm welcome to our new families on campus. Below is all of the information you need to guide you and your high school student(s) for the new school year.

We are very excited to introduce a new bell schedule for the 2022-2023 school year. The details are in the student handbook link below. We are keeping with block scheduling but incorporating one, 8-block day, to the five day week. Doing so, will allow all students to meet with a teacher three times a week and brings consistency to the A/B schedule.

As always, let me know if you have any questions. Enjoy the remainder of summer!

Mrs. Fouts, SMCHS Principal

School Forms

All necessary student school forms have been consolidated into one document. Parents and students should read all documents carefully, sign the signature page, and return it to the school office or email to Mrs. Fields. The signature page is the only document the office needs returned. Please return it by Monday, August 29. Below are links to the forms and the signature page:

LINK TO REVIEW STUDENT FORMS--This document includes the following to be READ by students and parents (no need to print):

  • Field Trip Permission
  • Medical Authorizations
  • Parent and Student Handbook Acknowledgement Form
  • Acceptable Use Policy
  • Diocesan Code of Pastoral Conduct for Students

LINK TO SIGNATURE AND CONSENT PAGE: Please print and SIGN this form after reading the above documents carefully. THIS IS THE ONLY FORM THAT NEEDS TO BE RETURNED.

Dress Code

Here is a link to the dress code. Please review and understand it. It is included as a part of the Student and Parent Handbook. When signing the student forms signature page, you are signing that you understand and agree to the SMCHS dress code.

School Supplies

Students should bring the generic supplies that would be required of any student. Students should also bring some paper bags to cover their textbooks. Individual teachers will inform their classes on the first day of school what his/her specific requirements are. SMCHS does NOT publish an overall school supply list. If you are out school supply shopping and come upon a great deal, the SMC office can always use extra supplies.

School Transportation

Transportation begins on Tuesday, August 30 for all students who qualify. If you live in the Neenah, Menasha or Hortonville School Districts, please contact the transportation office for your home district if you wish to receive bus transportation and have not been contacted. If you registered after our lists were submitted on May 15 and need transportation, please contact Sue Thelen.

Student Parking Registration

All students intending to park on campus must register their vehicle with the high school office. Please use this google form to register a vehicle: SMCS VEHICLE REGISTRATION FORM

This will also be sent to students the first week of school. Failure to register the vehicle can result in vehicle being towed if we are unable identify the owner.

Traffic Pattern for Pickup/Dropoff

Construction in front of our campus is scheduled to be complete by the start of the school, allowing traffic to flow as usual.

All traffic enters the campus using the south driveway. THIS IS A ONE-WAY ROUTE. Please DO NOT exit this way. Guests during the school day should use the FRONT parking area.

If you are dropping off students before school, turn into LANE ONE behind school and drop your child off at the back McClone Gym entrance. In an effort to keep this zone free for a drop off area, students are not allowed to park in lane one during school hours. Students should park in the LANES TWO OR THREE and park within the marked stalls. (See diagram below.)

As you exit the campus, use the north traffic lane and north exit lanes onto Cold Spring Road (traffic also flows one way out).
