June 6th Community Newsletter
Dear Parents and Guardians,
I can't believe we only have two weeks of school left before the summer break! The coming days will be filled with many activities and recognitions!
We will be awarding standout 6th and 7th graders virtually on June 9th. High school students will be competing in our PowderPuff game on the 9th. Our seniors are heading down to Wildwood the beginning of the following week - what fun! 8th graders will have their promotion ceremony on June 15th as well as a special surprise during the day to help celebrate them!
Let’s take a moment to celebrate our graduating seniors’ long journey towards adulthood. Woodbury High School and the entire community is so proud of their accomplishments and cannot wait to see all the great things to come in their futures.
Congratulations to the top five of the class of 2022. Pictures are in order of rank. Rory Juntti-Hesse, Alexandra Campo, Gracie Campo, Gracie Johnson and Augustus Burkhauser-Giustino. We are so proud of you!
I hope you had a chance to enjoy the summer-like weather this weekend!

Congratulations to sophomore Peyton Shute! Shute ran a 4:14.89 at the Haddonfield Invitational. This time is mere seconds away from the South Jersey sophomore class record of 4:14.14. His time is No. 8 among U.S. sophomores, according to the MileSplit national rankings, and it’s the fastest by a New Jersey sophomore in five years!
Junior High Track Updates: Excellent job by all athletes and coaches on a great season! We saw a ton of growth from all of our athletes throughout the year and look forward to what the future holds!
Mr. Kosior and Mr. Seebadri are hosting a School Wide Chess Tournament! We have had a variety of High School and Junior High students competing with the finals underway.
Woodbury’s E-Sports Rocket League's tournament run came to an end last week as they suffered a 4-2 playoff loss in the North American Regional Cup.
