Alan Turing
Alan Mathison Turing was a British mathmatician who created a machine that would change history in Britain forever. He lived from 1912-1954, but was prosecuted when he revealed that he was gay. He commited suicide by cyanide when he was chemically castrated instead of going to prison.
He helped develop the first computer, and many other devices that decoded the enemies secret messages, and helped Britain win the war. His inventions influenced Britain throughout his years, and were the source of the super computers we have today.
