As the last day of school draws closer, it becomes even more important to have extra eyes and ears on our students.

We will have a faculty meeting on Tuesday to wrap up our HB5 documentation and to evaluate ourselves in each of the 8 areas. We will also collect any CNA data that we need. Please bring all documents gathered for the respective binders and be prepare to meet with your committee to conduct the evaluation.

Thank you all so much for your diligence and efforts to get this done so quickly.

Attendance Update

Big image
Our attendance was very good last week, of course testing helped with that. As you can see, Friday's attendance was quite low. Please commend your students on their attendance last week and stress to them that we still have 13 days of school left in this school year and their attendance still counts. As always, keep making those parent contacts for attendance and grades. It does make a difference and we know we are doing our part to get kids to school each and every school day.

Teachers, please remind your students that they are not to bring food or drink into their classrooms. Parents are not to drop snacks off for their child, nor are students to call their parents to ask for snacks to be brought to them.

Summer School

Summer School applications have gone out. If you are interested, please print an application, complete it, and send it to Liana Vasquez at Central Office.
