How:
First there is a cart that is the base and is being pulled by one or two horses, which are reins, they are walking either slow or fast the speed only affects how good the harvest is. The grain cut by this reaper fell on a platform, from which it was raked by a person walking beside the machine.
What:
The purpose of the mechanical reaper is for cutting grain way easier than cutting grain by hand.

Why:
brought the end to tedious handiwork.
Why:
The reaper was the first step in a transition from hand labor to the mechanized farming of today and it brought about an industrial revolution, as well as a vast change in agriculture.
