MESSAGE FROM THE TISON PRINCIPAL
Dear Tison Families –
I am writing to share some personal news with you. Last week, I was offered and accepted the position of Human Resources Director of Secondary Staffing at Eagle Mountain-Saginaw ISD. This was not an easy decision for me to make and I want you to know that Weatherford ISD and Tison Middle School will always hold a special place in my heart.
Weatherford ISD will now begin the process to select a new principal for Tison Middle School and we will all work to make the transition as seamless as possible. Our focus at Tison will continue to be offering a quality, engaging education for our students.
Tison Middle School is a great place for our staff, students, and families. I want to thank each of you for your support and for entrusting me with your children. It has been a pleasure to watch them learn and grow during their middle school years.
Go ROOS!
Carrie Harrison
Principal

TISON ROO IN THE SPOTLIGHT
Grady Moore, 7th grader
Grady has been nominated by his ELA teacher, Coach Light, to be recognized in the Tison newsletter! Here are her comments:
"Grady is one of the most kind-hearted individuals that I have met. He helps with lockers, holds doors, and tries to help anyone that needs help in class. He even stops to help those who have dropped their things in the middle of the hall. Although he is extremely quiet, his actions speak louder than words."
In order to get to know Grady a little better, he completed a simple survey and below are his answers:
What do you most look forward to when you wake up in the morning and why?
I like to wake up in the morning because I want to go to school and have a good day of learning with all of my teachers.
In a word, describe school.
Learning
Write one word that describes you as a person.
Happy
What is your favorite TV show?
I like to watch ESPN. I like what they have to say about the players.
What is your favorite movie?
My favorite movie is one of the Superman movies. I like them because they have a lot of action.
What is your favorite song?
My favorite songs are all of the country songs because I like the way the beat goes with the words.
What is your favorite book?
My favorite book is the Outsiders. It is one of the best books that I have read in a long time.
What is your favorite game?
My favorite game to play is Phase 10 because it gets me to think in a different way.
What do you like to do in your free time and why?
I like to play sports and swim. I like to play sports because it gets me moving. I like to swim because it keeps me in shape when I am not playing sports.
If you could have lunch with a famous person, who would it be? Why?
It would be a pro baseball player because I would have so much to ask them about their career.
When you think about life after you graduate from school (high school or college) what career sounds goods to you and why?
I would like to be a professional sports player or a personal trainer. I would be a personal trainer because I like to push people to their best ability.
