January 19th - 22nd are Digital Learning Days
On Wednesday, January 13th, Gwinnett County Publics Schools CEO/Superintendent J. Alvin Wilbanks made the announcement that GCPS will temporarily transition all in-person learners to digital instruction for the week of Jan. 19-22. Please read below for further information on these Digital Learning Days:
- Learning Schedules:
Teachers will communicate the digital schedule for their classrooms. - Morning Announcements:
Morning announcements from Mrs. Lillard will be posted on the Brookwood Elementary eCLASS page. - Special Area classes
Specials schedule for all students next week: K&1 Tech, 2&3 Science, 4&5 STEM
Students will complete two lessons for their assigned grade level during the week. - Curbside Meal Pick Up & Delivery
Curbside Pick up at Brookwood Elementary will occur each day as usual from 12:00 - 1:00pm.
Meal delivery will occur along all bus routes. Please be at your bus stop at 10:45 am if you plan to receive lunch. Delivery will arrive before 12:00pm. - Media Center Book Checkout
The Media Center will be open on Tuesday - Friday for book checkouts for all students. Please come according to the schedule below:
A - C No school on Monday - Please pick Tuesday - Friday.
D - I Tuesday
J - M Wednesday
N - S Thursday
T - Z Friday

UPDATE TO BIRTHDAY TREATS Policy
If you would like to celebrate your in-person student's birthday at school, you now have two ways to do this:
- Send in individually PREPACKAGED treats 24 hours in advance. The treat will be distributed to the class the following day.
- Send in money to purchase ice cream for the class! Ice cream costs $1 each and is an easy way to celebrate birthdays.

Brookwood Lacrosse Association’s registration for 2021 spring season is OPEN on broncolax.com. Students from K – 8th grade may register. Spring practices start the week of January 25 and games begin second weekend of February until the beginning of May.
