This spring, the Glocester Libraries’ Story Time programs are live on Facebook in an effort to continue our tradition of Story Time programs while making your experience as safe as possible.

Glocester Manton April Pickup Crafts
March 29 – May 1, during library hours, Glocester Manton Library
Age Level: All Ages (Under 3 years may need caregiver assistance.)
Chicks, Lotus flowers, Earth Day seed bombs, Butterflies & Birds! Lots of fun crafts to do in April!

Harmony April Pickup Crafts
April 5, 12, 19, and 26, during library hours, Harmony Library
Age Level: All Ages
For the month of April, pick up a weekly craft at the Harmony Library! With themes like Earth Day, Easter, and sheep, there will be something fun and different every week.

Note: Crafts are on a first-come, first-served basis. Crafts at the two libraries are different.
Paper Bead Bracelets
April 2 – April 30, during library hours, Glocester Manton Library
Age Level: Grades 3 and up
Have you ever made a paper bead? They are so cool and once done, you would not believe they are made out of paper! Your pickup bag will include magazine pages to get you started, directions (with pictures), and some floss to make a bracelet with your finished beads.
Virtual Game Night

Age Level: Ages 8 and up
Join Miss Kat in a virtual game night! Set yourself up with some snacks and hang out with us on Zoom while we try different games and an escape room!
Glocester Town Animal Shelter Story Time

The Glocester Libraries is pairing up with the Glocester Town Animal Shelter for a recorded story time each month! Join Miss Kat and a furry friend for a super cute story time. Each month, we will have an adoptable guest joining us for a fun recorded story time.
Faux Succulent Magnets
Monday, April 12 and Tuesday, April 13, library hours, Glocester Manton Library
Drop in or take home a tiny ten-minute craft! All of the materials will be available at the library. If you have hot glue, then you can take the materials home. This craft is offered on a first-come, first-served basis. If you choose to craft at the library, please wear a mask and observe social distancing.
Glocester Libraries’ Healthy Grains and Spices Series
Monday, April 5 and May 3, library hours, Glocester Manton Library and Harmony Library
The Glocester Libraries wants to help you embrace new grains such as quinoa, faro, and bulgur by providing take-and-make ingredient kits on the first Mondays during the months of March, April, and May. Note: The kits are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
