Genius Fair 2015
1st annual D68 genius fair/innovation station event 5/29/15
ABOUT THE EVENT
The 2015 Genius Fair & Innovation Station is a one-night showcase of innovative ideas, design concepts, and display of entrepreneurship from the students of Woodridge School District 68. In addition to students involved in Genius Hour, any student who would like to present on a passion project or other innovative classroom experience they've had this year are welcome to sign up to present!
Students who want to present at the fair will be given a table and necessary technology. The rest of the display is up to them. Presentations are informal and open-house style. This showcase is a culmination of hard work from great young minds.
STUDENTS: Register here to present at the fair!
Click on this link (or zap the QR code with a QR reader app) to submit your genius hour topic proposal. Filling out the form will guarantee you a "booth"/table to present at the fair.
This expo will run open-house style from 6:30-8:30pm and will be open to the students/families of Woodridge School District 68.
TO ALL PARENTS
If you are a parent/family member who has a student presenting at the fair, please drop them off at Jefferson Junior High School at 6pm the night of the fair. The open house will then run from 6:30-8:30pm - students will have until 9pm to close down their booths. Please plan to attend the open house and learn from your child and their peers, too!
All families and students of Woodridge 68 are encouraged to attend this event even if your student is not presenting. This event serves to ignite creativity and imagination for students, family members, and staff within our school district - bringing passion to life.
TO ALL TEACHERS
All district staff are welcome to attend this event. If you'd like to help out during the night, please email me. Share the link to this page with parents and students:
