BWMS Parent Update
10/23/2020
Continuing in Quarter 2
Families,
It was another great week at BWMS. With 1st quarter grades being posted on Thursday, we encourage our students to reflect on their school goals and progress taken to meet those goals as a learner and individual. In addition to the academic success, we also ask them to reflect on their skills for success. In fact, all students from BWMS will receive feedback from their teachers in the following areas before the end of the 1st semester. Because we want our grades to reflect the knowledge and skills with each content area, these skills for success align with the other factors that make up a great teammate and individual. I would encourage you to have your student rate themselves in these areas and possibility set a goal for quarter 2 specific to take that next step as a learner.
- Academic Skills - Produces work of acceptable quality for ability level
- Academic Skills - Asks for assistance as needed, asks questions
- Social Skills - Engages in appropriate social behavior
- Social Skills - Cooperates with others
- Self Management - Respectful to students and staff
- Self Management - Responds appropriately to feedback
Have a great weekend,
Mr. Josh Frame
