Kdgn - 4th Grade Spring Concert Information
WHEN: Friday, March 20th @ 1:30
WHERE: High School Gym
WHAT TO WEAR: Dress in your best!!
Parents and the Cadott community are all encouraged to attend! We are excited to share with you the JOY of making music together.
PICK-UP INSTRUCTIONS: If you would like to take your child home with you after the concert is over, a note must be turned in to the office by 9:00 am on March 20th. This is a more efficient way for us to be sure students are safe and have all the things that they need to bring home for the break with them. You will then check your student out with their teacher after the concert is over in the high school gym. Students without a note will be brought back to the elementary school to follow normal pick-up routine.
WEATHER MAKE-UP DATE: We have set a make-up concert day as Friday, April 3rd at 1:30. Let’s all hope we don’t need to use that option!! :)
Recognizing Positive Behavior - The Power of Attention means "What we focus on we get more of"
Mrs. Spilde recognized Hunter for his daily acts of kindness. He is always there to help a classmate, compliment a friend, and keep our school safe and clean.

Nurse Hager Update -
Updated Information about Coronavirus
The Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) are responding to a new virus that was first detected in China. At this time the risk to the American public is considered low. However, the CDC recommends that we continue to follow the following health guidelines to help decrease the spread of ANY illnesses.
· Stay home when you are sick. If possible, stay home from work, school, and errands when you are sick. You will help prevent others from catching your illness. Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
· Avoid touching your eyes, nose, or mouth. Germs spread this way.
· Cover coughs and sneezes. Use a tissue to cover coughs and sneezes, then dispose of the tissue. When a tissue is not available, cough or sneeze into your elbow.
· Clean and disinfect surfaces or objects. Clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces at home, work or school, especially when someone is ill.
· Wash hands for 20 seconds. Washing hands often under clean, running water can help prevent the spread of germs. If you cannot wash your hands, use alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60-95% alcohol.
A District Team is meeting to prepare for any larger scale illnesses as is recommended by the CDC. We will also be implementing the use of masks for any students or staff that have a chronic cough to help prevent the spread of illnesses.

Destination Imagination
graders: Tali D, Maddie H, Alli P, Carson S,
Madysin B, MaryAnn G, and Rose H. The team selected
the Engineering Challenge, In The Cards. The main challenge is worth
75 percent of the overall score. The team wrote a story about finding
a bridge that connected two worlds As the story is acted out, two
team members build a bridge out of duct tape and cards. Another
student uses a homemade crane to do load tests using weights to see
how strong the bridge is. They have to complete all this in eight
minutes.
The Instant Challenge comprises the other 25 percent of the score, and
is a spontaneous challenge that relies on excellent teamwork and
creative problem solving skills in order to be successful.
They will compete along with over 80 other teams in Osceola on
Saturday, March 7th.Good Luck to our Destination Imagination Group
as they head to Oscola for their Regional Tournament this Saturday.

Cadott Booya Days Organization Donates Shoes to our Elementary School
Hello Cadott Families,
I’d like to give a BIG thank you to Crystal Thom and the Cadott Booya Days Organization for providing our students with quality shoes. Often times kids will either forget their shoes or their shoes will break down in class. Having a cart full of quality shoes makes a big difference for our students and their ability to stay active. Once again, the Booya Days Organization has come to the rescue and provided us with a collection of brand new shoes of varying sizes. We really appreciate the Cadott Booya Days organization for going out of their way to help the children of our community have quality footwear that will help to keep them moving!
