- Please arrive at school no later than 7:45. Please enter your testing room no later than 8:00 AM. Students who arrive late will not be permitted to test.
- When you arrive at school, please report directly to your testing location. If you need help locating your testing room, ask a staff member.

- All students must leave campus immediately after the test is complete.
- Students who plan on driving should park in the bus loop (parking permits are not needed).

- Parents/guardians who drive students to school should drop students off in the bus loop.
- The bus loop can be accessed by utilizing the access road located between Leonardtown Middle School and the Tech Center (See map below).
- 11th grade students should enter through the bus loop doors closest to rt. 5 (Near Mr. Copsey's office)
- 10th grade students should enter through the bus loop doors closest to the back of the school (near CTE hallway)

3rd Quarter Resource Pick-Up and Return
Your teachers may have notified you if you need to pick up instructional materials for third quarter. A distribution day will be held on Thursday, January 28th from 8 AM - 3:15 PM. Click here to check for teachers, classes, and materials available to pick up or return, and complete this form if you are planning to come that day to pick up materials.
Please park in the front parking lot and enter directly into the auxiliary gym. Any student/parent entering the gym must wear a face mask that covers the nose and mouth. When students enter the gym, they will be directed by a staff member to return any books to a designated table, if applicable. The staff member will then retrieve the student's new materials. Students will then be directed to leave through another set of doors. If you need assistance, please notify your teacher, Ms. Bridges (kjbridges@smcps.org), or Ms. Hager (bahager@smcps.org) in the media center.

SAT / ACT
Community spread of COVID 19 has continued to increase over the past three weeks with record numbers of new cases each week. St. Mary’s County posted 262 new COVID 19 cases last week alone. This is coupled with a positivity rate for those tested that has reached double digits - far exceeding the threshold set by Governor Hogan and State Superintendent of Schools Salmon to be acceptable to conduct in-person instruction.
In response to this escalating data, we must all commit ourselves to minimize exposure and risk. SMCPS will be doing this by cancelling the SAT administration that was tentatively scheduled for Saturday, December 5, 2020. In addition, the ACT scheduled for December 12, 2020, is also canceled.
Students will be provided the opportunity to take the SAT free of charge on March 24, 2021, as part of the SAT School Day. Additional information will be provided to students in early March 2021 as to the registration process for the administration. There is no action required by the student unless they paid for the essay portion of the SAT. (waiting on direction from the College Board).
Additional updates will be provided as soon as they are available. If you have questions regarding the SAT administration updates please contact your school’s College and Career Liaison.

Help Cure Blood Cancer!
LHS has two student candidates participating in The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Students of the Year (SOY) fundraising campaign to raise funds and awareness for blood cancer patients & their families. My team, Team Fly4ACure has a fundraising goal of $50,000 and we need your help!
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's mission is to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease, and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families. LLS exists to find cures and ensure access to treatments for blood cancer patients.
Your donation not only supports my fundraising but the millions of patients and their families touched by blood cancer. All donations are tax-deductible and extremely appreciated! Every penny counts!
