6th Grade Reminder
Tiger Teacher Topics of the Week
Mrs. Jester's Math
This week, in Mrs. Jester's Pre-AP Pre-Algebra class, we will reviewing surface area of prisms, cylinders and pyramids.
Next week, in Mrs. Jester's sixth grade math class, we will be finishing our unit on operations with fractions. We will have a Chapter 5 TEST on Tuesday, December 20th. If your student is going to be absent on that day, please make arrangements to take the test early.
The end of the first semester is December 21st.

Please remind your students to NOT to clean out their binders or throw away anything from math.
Mrs. Reynolds' Spanish
We will be completing our speaking and writing semester tests next week. Students should be practicing the speaking presentation at home. The objective part of the semester test will be the Monday or Tuesday before Christmas break.
Ms. Jasper's Science
We will be discussing renewable and nonrenewable energy resources in Chapter 3 Lesson 3 this week!!
Just a couple of reminders:
The last day to turn in missing work or do quiz retakes in my class is Friday, December 16.
Last, but certainly not least, our test over Chapter 3 will be Monday, December 19. If you will not be here you need to make arrangements to take the test early.

Ms. Clark's Science for 12/12 - 12/16
Greetings all!
We are studying a few of the forms of energy:
Nuclear, mechanical, sound, thermal, electric and radiant energy.
On Thursday, December 15th I will be working with students on remediation for the recent Chapter 2 test. Please contact me by email if you would like your child to participate in this 30 minute session. It takes place during our normally scheduled Tiger Time, so no class time or after school time required.
Mr. Janzen and Mrs. Anderson's Social Studies
Geography classes will be presenting our culture projects in class starting on December 13th. We also will continue discussing early United States history and the movement westward.
Mrs. Martin and Mrs. Frank's English
In English, Mrs.Martin's students' essays are due Wednesday, December 14, and Mrs. Frank's essay's are due Monday, December 12.
Freak the Mighty extra credit is due Wednesday, December 14.
A summative assessment will be given Monday and Tuesday, December 19-20.
