It Must Be the Money!

Since Fall Break, our class has been immersed in preparation and reflection for our Market Night! The students worked diligently to imagine, create, advertise, and sell their products. It was so amazing to see the pride on their faces at Market Night. I am still in absolute awe at the turn out we had for our big event. We were able to raise a whopping $914.00! This money will go towards soil, seeds, supplies, and a grow lab. Thank you all so much for your support!

Garden Update!

The garden has been tilled. We also planted a cover crop of organic winter rye grass to get the soil ready for Spring plantings.

Shout Outs!

I want to send a shout out to all of my students that volunteered to speak at our school's Veteran's Day program. They all showed extraordinary citizenship!

I also want to thank William Kereny. He is our class ambassador this quarter. He helped prepare a slide show about our garden project. Then, he and a representative from each 3rd grade class presented at the PTO meeting on Wednesday evening in front of parents, teachers, administrators and students. Dr. Neidermeyer was very impressed!
