The List
The List is a book by Siobhan Vivian. The story takes place in Mount Washington High around fall. happens every single year, school tradition, the list is posted all over school. The list contains two girls for each grade, one is named the prettiest and the other the ugliest. The List shows us eight different girls and how they deal with this not so pretty experience. This is not just a list, is THE list. No matter if you're named the prettiest or ugliest, "once you're on the list you'll never be the same" (The List cover). I mean, don't get it wrong, this list is not just about your beauty, but is also about your personality. You can have all the beauty in the world, but a trashy personality ruins it.

This is the cover of The List. In the cover, we can see different types of girls at Mount Washington High. In the middle, we see a girl with a paper, but that is not just a paper, that paper is the famous list.
Quote
This quote applies to all the girls in the list. No matter how pretty or ugly you are, what really matters is what's in the inside. You can be the prettiest girl, but an ugly personality can ruin your beauty. Or you can be ugly and have a great personality. Act how you want to be treated.
The List
This is the list that is all over the school. The list contains the name of the prettiest and ugliest girls of each grade. But not just your name, they add a comment about you. It can either be bad or good.
Recommended or not recommended :
I really recommend this book. In my opinion, its amazing. This book is really interesting, especially for girls and boys around our age. The conflict in this story is just so interesting, how this eight girls have to deal with the results of the list for the rest of high school.
