Kudos Kronicles
March/April 2019
Kudos to all of my Colleagues!
Our long winter turned into a rainy spring, so we best get the most glorious May flowers. Though that stupid New England frost was not helpful. Our weather here is not unlike what we experience here at the middle school with our students. Such a crazy, unexplainable time of year. I commend you all for your perseverance and tenacity to get up every day and feed these minds and nurture the souls of these curious, rebellious and yearning for automuny creatures. Who else comes in willing, to tend to the pre-adolescent and adolescent, then us? We are crazy but we are brave, loving and kind educational warriors. I commend you all. You all get Kudos, as March can be the longest month and then enter into May with SBAC and assemblies leaving it to be the most interrupted month. If it isn't easy for us, think about our kiddos. Please know you are some of the most important people in our students' lives. That is pretty cool that we get to have that honor throughout these most unexplainable times.
Kudos to Becky & Lisa
Kudos to Leesa Farina and Becki Johnson for the fabulous job they do on the bulletin boards, from Maura Zancan! KUDOS!
Kudos to Veronica, Heather and Mary
Veronica Graves, Heather Smith, and Mary Fuller- I can't thank these ladies enough. They have been wonderful in helping me with lesson ideas and just making me laugh when I need it. I love these ladies. From, Nicole Justiniano
KUDOS!!
Kudos to Sahsha
Kudos to Sahsha Christie, for helping me haul in food for the National Spanish Exam breakfast. It was such a little thing to do, but it was such a big help! From, Heather Smith
KUDOS!
(Looked everywhere for a pic of Sahsha, she is elusive!)
Kudos to Ryan McManus, our long term science substitute teacher
from Lisa Mooney for helping her out with a student situation. KUDOS !
Kudos for May and June, let's knock it out of the ball park for the end of the year!
It is a very busy time of the year and so many extras are being done for our students. We are all going above and beyond. Let's make sure we recognize each other for all we do. If someone does something great for our kids shout it out, if someone does something great for you shout it out, if you see a colleague do something great for someone else get that shout out. Let's get those KUDOS in before we head out for the summer! (If there is any chance you can take a pic of your Kudo Recipient, send it to me)
Why the Kudos Kronicles?
Just a little thing I can do to bring in the sun. I just wanted to have a space where everyone can quickly pat someone on the back when they see something happen, in the moment. Sometimes at faculty meetings when Coke and a Compliment happens our brains are so tired it is hard to remember the little things people have done for us. The Kudos Kronicles allows a second opportunity to shout out to someone that deserves a compliment/kudos. It is the least I can do for my colleagues and friends here at my school. (ELA people sorry to cause you all the cringing)
